About this file

This is an addendum to FAR 52.212-2 that outlines the evaluation criteria for a demolition services contract at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The document specifies three evaluation factors in order of importance: (1) Price, (2) Technical Capability requiring a 20-page technical narrative addressing the PWS Scope of Work requirements, and (3) Past Performance.

The evaluation criteria establishes that technical capability and past performance, when combined, are approximately equal in importance to price. The document indicates this is for a commercial products and services acquisition, with no applicable options. The addendum also states that a written notice of award or acceptance furnished within the specified time will result in a binding contract without further action needed from either party, and the government may accept all or part of an offer before expiration unless a written withdrawal is received.
