About this file

This is an Addendum No. 1 to a Request for Quotation issued by the West Virginia Department of Corrections for a Boiler Tube Replacement Project at Denmar Correctional Center and Jail. The project requires contractors to replace boiler tubes and related components on two boilers (No. 1 and No. 2), including replacement of the A-frame refractory in the rear of both boilers, disposal of existing boiler tubes and removed items, replacement of four gate valves (two per boiler with new 3-inch, 300 psi gate valves), and replacement of sight ports on the back of both boilers. The work must be sequenced such that Boiler No. 1 operates for a minimum of one week after tube replacement to ensure no issues exist before work commences on Boiler No. 2. A mandatory pre-bid sign-in sheet is required. The bid submission deadline has been revised to 10:30 AM on August 18, 2026.

No pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, funding sources, or contract term information is provided in this addendum document.
