About this file
This signature page is a bidding form issued by the Wisconsin Department of Justice for Request for Bid No. DOJ 2018-02, which solicits printing and delivery services for U.S. Supreme Court briefs and appendices. The scope of work requires preparation and delivery of printed Supreme Court briefs in accordance with the Rules of the Supreme Court of the United States (Adopted April 19, 2013, Effective July 1, 2013). Sealed bids must be submitted to the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Bureau of Budget and Finance, 17 West Main Street, 8th Floor, Madison, WI 53703, with a deadline of Friday, September 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. Central Time. The bid was issued on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. Bidders should contact Roque de Macedo at (608) 264-6216 or demacedoamarantear@doj.state.wi.us for further information. All printing work must be performed within the contractor's own plant, with only department-approved special finishing functions permitted to be subcontracted.
The bid remains firm for acceptance for sixty days from the date of bid opening. Wisconsin Statutes Section 35.56(4) governs the printing specifications. Bidders may claim Wisconsin certified disabled veteran-owned business preference, which provides a five percent preference if certified by the Wisconsin Department of Administration. Work center certifications under Wisconsin Statutes Section 16.752 for facilities employing persons with severe disabilities are also recognized. Per Wisconsin Statutes Section 16.754, bidders should confirm whether materials are manufactured in the United States. Bidders must certify that the bid was independently developed without collusion, that no agreements or restraints on competition exist, and that all terms and conditions of the Request for Bid will be met. Bid records become available for public inspection after the notice of intent to award is issued, and bid openings are public events.
