About this file
This is a Payment Schedule appendix for a MassHealth Business Support Services contract administered by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS). The contract encompasses an implementation period beginning October 1, 2026, followed by five contract years beginning July 1, 2027, with two optional extension years through June 30, 2034. The implementation phase runs for nine months (October 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027), with Year 1 commencing on the operational start date of July 1, 2027.
The payment structure establishes maximum amounts payable to the contractor for each contract period, with sample amounts ranging from $900,000 during the implementation phase to $1,800,000 in the optional Year 7 extension. Monthly invoice amounts are calculated by dividing the annual maximum by twelve months, with samples ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 per month depending on the contract year. The contractor shall submit monthly invoices not exceeding the specified maximum monthly invoice amount for each contract year, with all invoices subject to adjustment in accordance with contract terms. Service Level Agreement (SLA) penalties are applied to the next payable monthly invoice amount. The document explicitly notes that all dollar amounts shown are illustrative and subject to change, with final contract amounts to be determined based on the contractor's cost response and mutual agreement between the parties.
