About this file
This is a cost breakdown template appendix for a construction project solicitation at Columbus Air Force Base. The template requires vendors to provide detailed pricing information organized into specific cost categories: bonds and insurance, mobilization, architecture and engineering design (at 35%, 65%, 95%, and 100% completion levels), materials, equipment, labor hours with rates, and miscellaneous charges including Mississippi state tax. Vendors must complete the template with their company information (name, address, phone, email, NAICS code, and CAGE code), solicitation details (project title, solicitation number, period of performance, and proposal validity period), and a comprehensive project price breakdown that reflects the total cost of the renovation work.
The solicitation (FA302226R0024) is for the renovation of the Unaccompanied Officer's Quarters Commons (Building B972) at Columbus Air Force Base. The procurement is valued between $500,000 and $1,000,000, and the contractor must provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools necessary for completion. A site visit is scheduled for August 5, 2026 at 9:00 AM CDT with registration required by July 30, 2026; all requests for information must be submitted by August 10, 2026 at 7:30 AM CDT. The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command is the administering agency. Contractors must complete Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) training and obtain access to drawings and associated documentation through SAM.gov before proposal submission.

| GENERAL INFORMATION |
| The purpose of the requested information in the attached worksheets is to assist government personnel in the review and evaluation of proposals submitted by offerors. Offerors are reminded that the responsibility for providing adequate supporting data and attachments lies solely with them. Further, the offeror must also bear the burden of proof in establishing reasonableness of proposed pricing; therefore, it is in the offeror’s best interest to submit a fully supportable and well-prepared cost proposal that reflects the total cost of the project. The basis and rationale for all proposed costs should be provided as part of the proposal so that Government personnel can place reliance on the information as current, complete and accurate. |
