About this file

This document is an Appendix 2 Plumbing Line Item Description for the Multnomah County Weatherization Program, detailing comprehensive plumbing service specifications. The document outlines a comprehensive list of 58 distinct plumbing-related line items across five sections: Miscellaneous Materials and Hourly Rates, Water Heating, Pressurized Water System, Plumbing Fixture Repair/Replacement, and Miscellaneous Services. The line items cover a wide range of services including water heater replacements (electric, gas, and heat pump), pipe repairs and replacements, fixture repairs and installations, and specialized services like sewer camera scoping and main line replacements.

Each line item provides specific detailed requirements including mandatory permit acquisition, technical specifications, warranty expectations, and installation guidelines. The document establishes pricing structures for individual services, such as water line replacements by linear foot, fixture replacements, and repair services. Notably, the specifications emphasize energy efficiency, requiring water heaters to meet specific energy factor ratings, and include provisions for different housing types including site-built homes and mobile homes. The line items also mandate specific technical requirements like earthquake strapping, proper venting, and adherence to local plumbing codes, with each service requiring detailed invoicing that includes model numbers and permit copies.
