A 2.5% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds covering the full proposal amount, along with liability and worker's compensation insurance certificates. No electronic bids are accepted, and bids received after the deadline will not be considered. The project is tax-exempt, and the contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, proper disposal of removed equipment, and providing training comprising two four-hour sessions in different operating seasons. Post-award substitution requests are discouraged and must be submitted in writing with extensive supporting documentation. The contractor is required to provide a one-year warranty on all work and services, including two complete seasonal inspections with written reports within one year of substantial completion.
