About this file

Amendment Four is an official document issued by the Maryland Department of General Services, Office of State Procurement, related to the Statewide: Frozen Breakfast and Vegetable Items Invitation for Bids (IFB) with EMMA Number BPM047073/001IT821485. This amendment specifically revises Section 3.5 regarding Bid Due (Closing) Date and Time, maintaining the existing requirements for bid submission. Bids must be received by the Procurement Officer no later than the date and time indicated on the Key Information Summary Sheet, with no extensions granted. Bidders may modify or withdraw bids by written notice before the specified time and date, and those not responding are requested to submit a "No Bid/Proposal Notice/Vendor Feedback" form.

The amendment does not introduce significant changes to the original bidding process, primarily serving to clarify existing submission guidelines. The procurement remains a Small Business Reserve (SBR) solicitation for frozen breakfast and vegetable items, with potential for multiple contract awards. The contract term is expected to be five years with two possible one-year renewals, focusing on delivering frozen food products to state agencies and eligible governmental entities. Vendors are required to meet specific standards, including U.S. Grade A and USDA requirements, with delivery timeframes ranging from 24-48 hours for emergency requests to 5 business days for standard orders.
