About this file
This document is an amendment to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Pump Station #4 Trash Rake Replacement Project in Portland, Oregon. The project is managed by the Multnomah County Drainage District No. 1. The amendment modifies the original solicitation by providing additional supplemental information, revising the bid form, and clarifying requirements for the owner-supplied equipment, unloading, hydraulic lines, and rake extension protection. The anticipated equipment delivery date is on or before August 22, 2023, and the equipment will be delivered directly to the project site. The contract includes 19 bid items for demolition, installation, electrical work, testing, and other related tasks. The bid opening is scheduled for May 10, 2023. Liquidated damages of $2,275 per day will be assessed if the work is not completed by the substantial completion date.
The bid form includes unit prices and estimated quantities for the various bid items. The owner will supply the trash rake equipment and related appurtenances, and the contractor is responsible for unloading, handling, and installing the equipment. The contract requires compliance with Oregon prevailing wage rates. A bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance, payment, and warranty bonds.
