About this file

Amendment 3 for Request for Proposal (RFP) U00R5600172, issued by the Maryland Department of the Environment, addresses the pickup and disposal of PFAS firefighting foam from various fire stations. This amendment extends the proposal due date to Friday, May 23, 2025 at 2 pm and includes several supplementary documents such as a Question and Answer document, a sample Work Order, a list of fire stations requesting material pickup, photos of containers, a Revised Financial Form, and updated personnel experience requirements. The amendment instructs offerors to review the new materials, complete the Revised Financial Form, and acknowledge all amendments when submitting proposals.

The amendment provides contact information for June Dwyer for any document-related issues and emphasizes that offerors must use the new Revised Financial Form, discarding previous versions. While specific pricing details are not provided in this amendment, it is part of a broader environmental remediation project aimed at safely removing and disposing of PFAS-containing firefighting foam from eligible fire departments across Maryland, in compliance with the George Walter Taylor Act. The comprehensive nature of the amendment suggests a structured procurement process with detailed requirements for potential hazardous waste management contractors.
