About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Applications (RFA) issued by the state of Oregon for an Independent Living Program Services contract. The addendum revises the "References" and "Applicant Reporting" sections of the RFA. The References section now requires applicants to demonstrate that the services they provided are similar to what is outlined in the RFA, and that the references describe the supports received and whether they were effective in helping the young person achieve their goals. The Applicant Reporting section requires applicants to explain how they will manage the budget, track data, and ensure reports are completed and submitted to the Agency in a timely manner with the requested information.
The Independent Living Services outlined in this RFA will assist the Agency by providing children and young adults that experienced the Foster Care system or are expected to age out of the Foster Care system with the knowledge, skills, and ability to make a successful transition to self-sufficiency and adulthood. The contract term is not specified.
