About this file

This document is Solicitation Amendment 2 for the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission's Lake Sammamish State Park Kayak Rental Concession (RFP 325-589), dated April 1, 2025. The amendment specifically addresses changes to Section 1.3 regarding Paddle Equipment Inventory, noting that the current concessionaire is retiring and has disposed of their existing paddle equipment through a private sale. As a result, the successful bidder will be required to provide their own complete equipment inventory, with no equipment being transferred from the previous vendor.

The amendment maintains all previous terms and conditions not explicitly modified, and while bidders are invited to include this amendment with their bid response, doing so is not mandatory. This revision is significant for potential bidders, as it means they must budget for and procure a full set of kayak and paddling equipment from the outset of the contract, rather than potentially acquiring existing inventory from the previous concessionaire.
