About this file
This document is a Solicitation Amendment #1 issued by Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission for the Lake Sammamish State Park Kayak Rental Concession (RFP 325-589). The amendment, dated April 1, 2025, provides a response to a vendor question regarding historical sales data for the prior concession operator. The amendment indicates that bidders are invited but not required to include this document with their bid response, and all previous terms and conditions remain in effect.
The amendment includes a table of Total Gross Income for the previous vendor from 2021-2024, showing annual revenues ranging from $230,701.73 to $264,642.80. State Parks notes that while they can provide this aggregate income data, they do not have access to the prior vendor's detailed sales information. This historical revenue information may be useful for potential bidders in understanding the financial performance of the kayak rental concession at Lake Sammamish State Park and in developing their own competitive proposals for the upcoming contract opportunity.
