About this file
This is Amendment 1 to a Fixed Price Bid solicitation issued by the State of South Carolina's Procurement Officer for the SC Department of Juvenile Justice Teen After-School Centers (TASC) program. The solicitation requires contractors to provide comprehensive after-school services including structured academic enrichment workshops, supplies for academic support, healthy snacks with kitchen access or provision, and recreational equipment and space for youth. The contractor must deliver all program components as a complete scope of work; partial submissions for individual components such as only the academic component are not permitted. Offers must be submitted online through SCEIS by April 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM EST, with questions due by March 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM EST. No pre-bid conference will be held. The award is scheduled to be posted on May 23, 2024, and all solicitation documents, amendments, and related notices will be available at www.procurement.sc.gov. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment and hold their offers open for a minimum of thirty calendar days after the opening date.
This solicitation has the potential to award to multiple vendors, indicating that the state does not intend to limit the contract to a single provider. The amendment clarifies that tutoring and academic enrichment are integral components of the required daily TASC activities, along with snacks, recreation, service project opportunities, and life skill development. Offerors must submit one online submission with signed Cover Pages 1 and 2, and must provide a State Vendor Number obtained through www.procurement.sc.gov. The amendment updates the procurement officer's phone contact to 803-737-3410, with email correspondence directed to jabney@mmo.sc.gov. No preferences apply to this fixed price bid per South Carolina law.
