About this file

This document is an amendment to an Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) issued by the State of Idaho. The amendment includes changes such as an updated administrative document, posted answers to questions and modification requests during the Q&A period, and an extended closing date for responses to October 19. The ITN is related to a state and local contract opportunity for the Idaho Military Division to procure PPE past its useful life, for which the agency has requested an exemption from competition. Suppliers are invited to review the exemption request and provide relevant information to the Department of Procurement (DOP) Administrator, who will make a discretionary decision regarding the exemption.

The amendment does not provide details on the specific products, quantities, or pricing terms. The contract opportunity is focused on procuring PPE that is past its useful life, and the exemption from competition is based on the agency's claim that competition would be impractical, unreasonable, or disadvantageous to the State under the circumstances. Suppliers are encouraged to submit information that may support or contradict this claim by the closing date and time listed in the IPRO system.
