Addendum 1 to Contract 163-23 - Idaho Division of Juvenile Corrections Pharmacy Services

This is an addendum document to a contract for Prescription Filling & Pharmacy Services and Enhanced Clinical Services between the Idaho Division of Juvenile Corrections (IDJC) and the contracted pharmacy service provider. The addendum modifies the terms of the existing Contract 163-23, which provides ongoing pharmacy services including prescription filling, chart review services, and enhanced clinical support to juvenile correction centers. The original contract was established through an exemption from competitive procurement due to the agency's inability to provide services internally given staffing limitations. The contract term was designed as a six-month interim agreement, with the current contract with incumbent vendor Correct Rx Pharmacy Services, Inc. originally set to expire on September 30, 2023. The proposal submission deadline was September 15, 2023, prior to the contract expiration date to allow for transition planning to a long-term solution or contract extension through the MMCAP purchasing consortium.

The anticipated cost for the six-month service period was approximately $66,000, encompassing base prescription filling services and enhanced clinical services provided at an additional $1,000 per month. The State of Idaho requires the contractor to maintain commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, and workers' compensation insurance throughout the service period, with the State and its agencies named as additional insureds on all liability policies. The contractor must notify the State of any policy cancellations or material changes. As an exemption from competitive bidding was approved by the Division of Purchasing Administrator, no set-asides or restrictions on responding organizations were implemented. The addendum reflects modifications to the original interim contract structure to address operational or administrative adjustments necessary during the contract performance period.
