About this file

This notice provides details on an upcoming bridge replacement project on Alaska's Glenn Highway. The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, in conjunction with the Federal Highway Administration, will be soliciting bids to replace the existing bridge over the Kings River between mileposts 66.0 and 67.2. The project scope includes bridge construction, grading, paving, drainage and erosion control work over a 1.2 mile segment. Interested vendors are encouraged to review the preliminary plans and visit the site in fall 2020 due to anticipated winter conditions restricting access. Technical questions should be directed to the Western Federal Lands Highway Division by September 2020, and solicitation documents will be posted to SAM.gov during winter 2020-2021. Bidders should monitor the website for release details and subscribe to notifications.
