A.

The Contractor shall have prior approval from the Contracting Officer before any exit or exit access is obstructed or closed. The closing or obstructing of exits is discouraged and shall be prevented whenever feasibly possible. No padlock, chain, or other securing device shall be used to prevent escape from the egress side of an exit or exit access while the construction area is occupied. These examples are only a few of the possible operations that can generate toxic material or volatile organic compounds in occupied buildings and that may require work to be performed outside of normal work hours.

C.

Provide the Government with copies of all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all hazardous materials to be used, prior to the start of work.
