QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD

[12/13/2016 9:52 AM] McFarlane, Michael -FS:

Tiffany. I see discussions on IDIQs and Options and don't see anywhere where they reference orders as options. They do discuss options for additional time (option Periods) but nothing else. This was the best one I could find and it discusses orders with options in them. here it is and hope it helps my case. There is a section on Options in IDIQ Contracts; http://www.wifcon.com/discussion/index.php?/blogs/entry/644-those-pesky-idiq-contracts-again/ This message wasn't sent to Taylor, Tiffany J -FS due to company policy.

Any answer provided today is unofficial until posted to the FBO website. To date, the US Forest Services has not received questions in writing. However, any questions received in writing will receive a formal response and will be posted .

Should we determine that changes need to be made to the solicitation, those changes will be made via amendment to the solicitation also posted to FBO.

I will read each question without identifying the firm involved and, if I can, answer it now. I will not attempt to answer any question not reduced to writing on the question form. However, any answer given today must be considered unofficial until it is confirmed in writing. Again, all questions and written answers will be posted to the FBO. Again, it is each Offeror’s responsibility to monitor the FBO website for new or revised information.

If the answer to one question generates another question orally, I ask that the additional oral questions be written on an index card and provided to me to ensure that the oral questions may be confirmed in writing.

CLOSING STATEMENT

This concludes the Preproposal Conference for Solicitation AG-024B-S-17-0005 Thank you for your time and interest in this requirement Please ensure that you continue to monitor the FBO site for formal responses to the questions asked regarding the solicitation and any formal changes to the solicitation.
