About this file

The document provided contains the Additional Terms and Conditions for a state contract opportunity for Pressure Seal and Expense Warrants issued by the Alabama Department of Finance, Division of Procurement. The contract seeks to establish a Master Agreement for the procurement of these items, with an estimated annual quantity of 300,000 units. Bids are to be submitted through the Alabama Buys supplier portal, with a deadline of May 24, 2024 for submitting questions. The award will be made on an "all or none" basis to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications, and pricing is required to remain firm for one year from the date of award.

The pricing terms indicate that all costs, including artwork, must be included in the bid price, and freight charges must be F.O.B. destination. The state does not guarantee any minimum purchase quantities beyond the initial order. Samples may be requested during the evaluation period for products not previously accepted. The state reserves the right to procure the goods or services from other sources if the awarded supplier defaults on the contract, and the defaulting supplier may be subject to suspension or debarment. The items provided must be compatible with the state's existing equipment, and no deviations in size, style, color, or construction will be considered.
