The addendum serves as documentation of an approved change to the original RFP specifications and must be acknowledged by all proposers for their submissions to be considered valid. The RFP solicits sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide utility bill printing and mailing services for the City. Proposals are due Thursday, June 09, 2022 at 2:00 P.M., with a question deadline of Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 5:00 P.M. Submissions must be directed to the Office of Finance & Administrative Services at 210 Stonewall Avenue W, Fayetteville, Georgia 30214, where proposals will be publicly opened and read. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive formalities.

The addendum includes a sample utility bill layout for a residential customer account, demonstrating the bill format, account summary information, payment options, service details, and customer information sections that bidders should be prepared to produce. The sample bill reflects charges for residential water service, sewer service, garbage fee, recycling fee, and stormwater fee. Additional details regarding pricing terms, set-asides, contract duration, and renewal options are not specified within this addendum document itself and would be contained in the complete RFP specifications available on the City of Fayetteville's website.

On June 18th, Southern Ground welcomes a double bill of 70’s light rock with the Atlanta Rhythm Section and Pure Prairie League. ARS was all over FM radio in the late 70’s; and Pure Prairie League’s biggest hit, “Aimee” is easily one of the most well-known county rock songs of all time.

A great evening of hits will include “Spooky”, “Champagne Jam”, and “Imaginary Lover”.

Our website has valuable information about the City of Fayetteville Utility Departments for Solid Waste/Recycling, Billing, Water Services, and much more!

BULK TRASH

The city provides once a month bulk trash pickup for residential customers as noted on the bulk schedule on the front side of the statement and in every issue of the Town Crier. (The schedule is also available on the City’s website at www.fayetteville-ga.gov/

Bulk trash includes items such as furniture, appliances and other materials not suitable for normal loading into packer-type vehicles. Bulk collection is not intended for hazardous chemical waste, automobile parts, major construction debris, or trash resulting from commercial landscaping or lawn service transported to a residential unit from elsewhere. Also mirrors, glass table tops, window panels, plate glass, etc., will not be picked up unless they are properly and safely placed in a ridged container to prevent unnecessary accidents. The placing of these items un-satisfactorily at the curb represents a serious threat of injury to the employees from Waste Management.

The City asks that residents place bulk items out for pickup only during the designated week. Placing items out too early could result in fines. Especially during hurricane season, it is important to ensure that unsecured materials are not left at the curb any longer than necessary in case a storm arrives.
