About this file

This document is an Addendum (No. Four) to an Invitation to Bid issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department for Facilities and Support Services, Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, for the Upper Guide Wall Repairs Project at Kentucky River Locks 2 & 3 in Henry County. The addendum modifies two key aspects of the original bid: first, the bid due date is extended to July 30, 2025 at 1:30 PM ET, and second, the project schedule is extended by one year. The revised project timeline now includes separate construction seasons for each lock site, with Substantial Completion for Lock 3 set for November 30, 2026 (construction season from July 1, 2026 through November 30, 2026) and Substantial Completion for Lock 2 set for November 30, 2027 (construction season from July 1, 2027 through November 30, 2027).

The addendum does not provide specific details about pricing, funding sources, or contract value. The document maintains the original Invitation to Bid number RFB-235-25 and the associated project reference number RFB-785-2500000645. The changes are intended to provide bidders with a more flexible timeline for completing the Upper Guide Wall Repairs at the two lock sites, allowing one construction season per location. The procurement is being managed by Kristi Sharp, the Statewide Procurement Manager for the Division of Engineering and Contract Administration.
