About this file
Addendum No. Four is a document issued by the Pueblo West Metropolitan District for IFB 2024-W-003, a TP1 Roof Replacement project. The addendum addresses ten specific questions from potential bidders regarding the roof replacement at the Water Treatment Plant, covering topics such as substrate identification, warranty requirements, skylight cover materials, security camera removal, and lightning protection. The document indicates a mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. MT, with 12 roofing and construction companies represented.
The project requires a comprehensive roof replacement involving demolition of existing Modified Bitumen roofing and installation of a new TPO Mechanically Attached Roofing System. Key warranty requirements include a 5-year workmanship warranty and a 20-year No Dollar Limit (NDL) Manufacturer's warranty covering material and labor. Bidders must provide detailed information about installation methods, material substitutions, and comply with specific manufacturer certifications. The addendum notes that no core samples have been taken, leaving some substrate details uncertain and to be determined during the demolition process. Contractors must include electrical work coordination, lightning protection system handling, and comprehensive cleanup in their bid.
