About this file

This Addendum No. 1 to Invitation to Bid 25260068B-VG is a clarification document issued by the School Board of Seminole County, Florida's Purchasing and Distribution Services Department on January 29, 2026. The addendum addresses seven questions and answers regarding custodial supplies procurement for the school district's 37 elementary schools, 12 middle schools, nine high schools, and additional educational facilities. The solicitation covers 117 line items across product categories including brushes, brooms, mops, cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, floor cleaning pads, trash containers, vacuum cleaner bags, and gloves. The bid opening date remains February 6, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. EST, with all orders to be delivered to the School Board of Seminole County Warehouse located at 1722 W. Airport Blvd., Sanford, Florida 32771. The contract will be awarded for an initial one-year term with options for two additional one-year renewals.

Key clarifications provided in the addendum include confirmation that order frequency and quantities are based on demand rather than a regular schedule, with orders placed on an as-needed basis. The school board indicated preference for shorter lead times measured in days rather than weeks and requested vendors provide lead time estimates upon purchase order receipt. The addendum clarified the distinction between substitute items (meeting current specifications) and alternative items (performing the same function but potentially of different types), requiring samples for any item other than those listed in the original bid document. The Evaluation Committee will recommend awards on February 20, 2026, with final Board approval anticipated on March 10, 2026. Pricing will be FOB inside delivery to the warehouse with Net 30 payment terms and potential price adjustments considered for significant material cost changes up to 3 percent. Contact for questions is Victoria Gonzalez, Procurement Agent III, at gonzalvm@scps.k12.fl.us or 407-320-0262.
