ADDENDUM # 3
This Addendum # 3, dated December 11, 2023, amends or supplements Invitation to Bid (ITB) # 2024-011 as indicated below:
I. Bid Due Date:
The Bid due date is hereby changed from December 20, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. to December 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
II. Questions Due Date:
The questions deadline is hereby changed from December 11, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. to December 15, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.
III. General Comment:
These changes are being made to accommodate an addendum that will be issued by Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. for drawing revisions specific to coordinating with some previously unknown underground utilities running in the courtyard. Drawing revisions will include a slight change in building addition footprint in order to work around those underground utility lines.
IV. Vendor Questions:
1. Is there any information about the existing hardware or keying system that they currently use or can requirements be provided?
Door hardware and locks are manufactured by Best. The lock cores are a 7 Pin. The City will pin and install cores so they will match existing keying for the Courthouse.
2. Door 165B is this a flush aluminum door or glass SF door? If it’s a glass storefront door is it glass type
GL03?
Door 165B shall be a standard aluminum storefront door, dark bronze anodized aluminum, 3-1/2” side and top rails and 10” bottom rail, with typical storefront door hardware as noted in the drawings.
3. It looks like there is no section on the bond form you attached for the surety information. Could we possibly be missing a page? Or is there another form we could use like the AIA?
On the bid bond form the type of bid security (certified check, bond, etc.) shall be noted at the line that says “… in the form of ___________”. The specific bid security (either check or bond form) should be attached to the bid bond from attachment D, and if the bidder would like to state information regarding the bonding agency on the form that can be handwritten in the blank space at the bottom of the form.
BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, THE BIDDER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY HAVE RECEIVED THIS ADDENDUM # 3 AND
FULLY UNDERSTANDS THESE CHANGES.
***THE SIGNED ADDENDUM SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE BID SUBMITTAL***
