About this file
This is Addendum No. 3 issued by the California Department of Parks and Recreation for RFQ C15E0055 regarding Site Characterization and Remediation Services for Hazardous Materials Throughout the Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park. The addendum, issued April 15, 2016, extends the Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) submission deadline from April 25, 2016 to May 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Submissions must be delivered to the Department's Acquisition and Development Division at One Capitol Mall, Suite 410 in Sacramento. The project includes a mandatory pre-proposal walkthrough meeting starting at 10:00 AM.
The addendum clarifies that contractors are responsible for planning accordingly for the mandatory pre-proposal walkthrough, with an estimated one-hour travel time from the sign-in location to the project site. The Department notes they cannot determine the exact duration of the meeting due to variables including the number of attending contractors and the need to visit multiple areas across the large park site. No pricing information, set-asides, or funding details are included in this addendum.

1.5.2 Deadline: Sealed SOQs shall be accepted no later than 2 p.m., April 25, 2016 May 2, 2016 at
Department of Parks and Recreation Acquisition and Development Division One Capitol Mall, Suite 410 Sacramento, California 95814

2. Questions (Q) and Answers (A) submitted:
1) Q: The meeting starts at 10am. What time do you expect it to conclude?
A: It is the contractors’ responsibility to plan accordingly for the mandatory pre-proposal walk-through. We are unable to determine the length of the meeting due to several unknowns.
Travel time from the sign-in meeting place to the project site should take approximately one
(1) hour. It is unknown how many potential contractors will attend the meeting so the travel time will likely be variable. We are unable to estimate how long it will take while at the project site due to the size of the park and the need to drive around to multiple areas to show contractors the project area.
