BID OPENING DATE:

ADDENDUM ITEMS: (attach additional sheets and drawings if required)
1. Bidder question: Aside from the trusses, should all lumber be pressure treated?
Ans) Excepting trusses and the 5/8th sheathing under the metal roofing, all shall be pressure treated.
2. Bidder question: is the intent to scratch topsoil off the surface, and spot check areas that need better soil, while more or less maintaining the existing grade?
Ans) Any in-situ available topsoil in the grading limits should be removed prior to mass grading. Salvaged topsoil can be reused to assist in achieving the quantity required for restoration. Contractor shall uses the grading plans to develop the site and place topsoil to depths noted.
3. Sheet C3 calls out bumper blocks, typical, but it’s not clear which spaces get bumper blocks. Is it every space?
Ans) Bumper blocks are only required for the paved ADA spaces.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: This Addendum must be acknowledged by the Bidder in the space provided in the Bid Summary and Bid Form. Failing to acknowledge Addenda may be cause for the Bid to be rejected. Addenda will become part of the Contract Documents.
