About this file

This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) for the IP Switchgear Replacement project (RFP # 22-236-PW). The addendum provides responses to questions regarding the fiber optic cable and connector requirements, allowing for alternate manufacturers if the specified products are unavailable. It also revises the closing date for the RFP to December 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM PST, which is a material change to the original closing date of December 8, 2022.

The IP Switchgear Replacement project involves the installation of replacement switchgear and other related tasks at EWEB's steam turbine generation operation at the International Paper facility in Springfield, Oregon, which is located within Lane County and the City of Sumpter. The project requires the use of single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables and connectors, and the addendum provides clarification on the acceptable specifications and alternatives for these components.
