About this file
This document is Addendum 2 for Request for Quotation (RFQ) #10819381 issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), specifically from the Information Technology Acquisitions Unit (ITAU). The addendum provides clarification on two key questions from potential bidders, with the primary focus appearing to be related to a technology procurement. The document indicates an anticipated award date of October 1, 2025, though this is subject to change, and outlines warranty details for what seems to be a technology equipment purchase.
The addendum specifically addresses warranty terms, confirming a three-year full warranty that includes complete replacement of core components such as gimbal cameras and airframes, even covering replacements for user errors. The warranty period extends from the purchase order date through June 30, 2028, and encompasses technical assistance and replacement of non-perishable equipment components. The CDCR's responses suggest a comprehensive approach to equipment procurement, emphasizing long-term support and replacement provisions for the acquired technology.
