About this file

Addendum No. 2 for IFB 250201 is issued by the City of Leesburg, Florida for the Venetian Cove Marina Improvement Project. The addendum revises the tentative calendar of events, extending key dates including the pre-bid meeting/site visit (now on December 5, 2024, at the Venetian Cove Marina), bid specifications questions deadline (moved to December 30, 2024), deadline to issue addenda (now January 2, 2025), and bid due and opening date (now January 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom). The bid tabulation is scheduled within two working days after the bid opening, with an intent to award recommendation to be issued by January 24, 2025, and final award by the City Commission pending completion of all required documentation.

The addendum requires bidders to acknowledge receipt by signing and returning the attached acknowledgment form, with instructions for submission via sealed envelope or electronic revision. The project involves improvements to the existing marina building, boat docks, and related infrastructure, seeking a qualified Florida-licensed contractor to provide labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals. Bidders must carefully note the updated timeline and submission requirements, with all bids to be construed as having received and acknowledged this addendum, regardless of explicit confirmation.
