About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to an RFP issued by the City of Fayetteville, Georgia for Item PS410-02, a Consultant for a Pavement Condition Survey. The addendum addresses questions submitted by prospective bidders prior to the May 24, 2022 deadline. The City is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms to conduct a pavement condition survey of approximately 100 miles of paved roads within the City's road system. Proposals must be submitted in PDF format via email to Carleetha Talmadge at ctalmadge@fayetteville-ga.gov by 2:00 PM on June 7, 2022, at which time proposals will be opened and publicly read. The question submission deadline was established as 5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

The addendum clarifies that while the original RFP specified FHWA-RD-03-031 as the guide for conducting pavement evaluations, the Georgia Department of Transportation's CoPACES system will be allowed as an acceptable alternative evaluating tool for RFP submissions. This modification was made in response to a bidder question regarding the use of GDOT's Paces System, which evaluates the same deficiencies plus additional ones not specified in the original RFP. Any proposal submitted that does not acknowledge receipt of this addendum will not be considered for award.
