About this file
This Addendum 1 document is issued by Brevard County Purchasing Services for the New Impact Fee Study (RFP#7-25-14) scheduled for April 02, 2025. The addendum provides clarifications to prospective bidders regarding proposal submission requirements, specifically addressing three key questions: (1) hard copy submission guidelines, requiring three physical copies and one electronic USB copy, (2) confirmation that the pricing form's line 1 should represent the total for all services with lines 2-6 serving as a detailed breakout, and (3) insurance requirements, which will not be needed until after the Notice of Award is issued. The bid opening date remains Tuesday, April 08, 2025, at 3:00 PM, with all other terms and conditions remaining unchanged.
The addendum, signed by Mary Bowers, Purchasing Manager, provides procedural guidance for potential vendors, emphasizing that insurance certificates will only be required within 5 days after the Notice of Award is posted to Vendorlink. This document serves to eliminate potential confusion about proposal submission and ensure all bidders have consistent understanding of the RFP requirements, maintaining transparency in the procurement process for the county's impact fee study project.

New Impact Fee Study for the County’s Impact Fee Program(s)
RFP#7-25-14
April 02, 2025
ADDENDUM 1
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
This is an Addendum to and shall be considered as part of the original Proposal package for the above-mentioned Proposal. Contractors are requested to acknowledge receipt of this Addendum with their Proposal.
CLARIFICATION TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED:
Question 1: Is an original file required to be one of the three hard copies?
Answer: No, an original is not required. Please submit three (3) hard copies, and one (1) full electronic copy on USB flash drive.
Question 2: On the pricing form (page 18 of the RFP), it appears that line 1 would be the sum of lines 2-6. Is this how you prefer we fill out the form or are you looking for something else?
Answer: Yes, line 1 would be the total for ALL services. Lines 2-6 would be a breakout of line 1.
Question 3: In regard to the Indemnification and Insurance requirements form, are we to include anything with our proposal? Or is the objective of this form simply to state that if selected, we will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance within 5 days?
Answer: The insurance requirements would not be required until after the Notice of Award is Issued. If you are the selected vendor, you would then have 5 days to provide the Certificate of Insurance after the Notice of Award is posted to Vendorlink.
Please note that the bid opening date and time remains Tuesday, April 08, 2025 @ 3:00 PM.
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
Sincerely, Mary Bowers Purchasing Manager
