About this file

This document is an Ordering Data Sheet for a Nine Nuclide Gamma Calibration Source. The source is to be a 500 ml solid epoxy matrix with a total activity of 3.0 microcuries (-15%, +0%). The source must be National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable and include a Certificate of Calibration documenting the activity, gamma emission rate, and uncertainty of each nuclide. The source is to be shipped to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility in Bremerton, Washington.

The related Federal Contract Opportunity is a Pre-Solicitation for a Gamma Radioactive Source for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The solicitation will be a 100% Small Business set-aside with a Firm Fixed-Price Supply Contract anticipated. Solicitation N4523A-24-Q-4072 will be posted to sam.gov on or about August 13, 2024 with quotes due on or about August 23, 2024. The contracting agency is the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
