About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a project to repair the interior of Building 53 at Jefferson Barracks Air National Guard Station for the U.S. Army Audit Agency. The renovation encompasses selective demolition, including removal of existing ceiling tiles, vinyl base, and toilet fixtures, followed by new installations such as commercial-grade nylon carpet (approximately 142 square yards), eggshell white painted walls, 2'x2' or 2'x4' fiberglass acoustical ceiling tiles, and new commercial-grade plumbing fixtures including low-flow water closets and urinals with motion sensors.
The project has a 45-day performance period from Notice to Proceed, with work to be completed during Air National Guard duty hours (Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Special considerations include the building's status on the National Historic Register, requiring careful material handling, and strict adherence to safety, environmental, and base access regulations. The contractor must coordinate with the Civil Engineering Office, submit detailed project schedules and material submittals, and provide a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship. The estimated project budget is approximately $60,000, with a solicitation that indicates the construction magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000.
