About this file

This is an Independent Cost Estimate (ICE) document prepared by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) for the conversion of on-premise licenses to cloud-based licenses for Informatica software. The project involves transitioning the agency's existing Informatica software infrastructure to a cloud-based solution. The estimated project cost is $350,251.60 for a one-year term with an option term date of October 1, 2025. The procurement will be conducted through an Invitation for Bid (IFB) process, after which the new cloud-based Informatica licenses will be incorporated into the existing sole-source agreement for annual renewal, and the legacy on-premise licenses will be retired. Brad Dagger, Section Manager Sr., submitted the cost estimate on October 1, 2025, with a Purchase Requisition Number of R000820.

The estimated cost of $350,251.60 is based on an informal budgetary quote from Informatica and is categorized entirely under Information Technology Support with no direct labor, overhead, materials, travel, or subcontractor costs itemized separately. The procurement will be conducted through the IFB process with authorized resellers eligible to bid. Upon successful procurement, the new licenses will be integrated into OCTA's existing sole-source agreement structure for continued annual renewal and support.
