SECTION 01 11 00

SUMMARY OF WORK

08/15

PART 1 GENERAL

1.1 WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS

1.1.1 Project Description

The work includes ERI: CONSTRUCT ECAOS DABS STORAGE, including three new storage warehouse buildings (Building 1 - Container Storage, Building 2 - Vehicle Storage, and Building 3 - Pallet Storage), fire water tank and pump, associated utilites, addition of stormwater retention pond, and incidental related work.

The work includes consideration of the following Option Items:

a. Additive Option Items:

(1) Enhanced automation of overhead bridge crane. See Section 41 22 13 BRIDGE CRANES, OVERHEAD ELECTRIC, UNDER RUNNING for additional information.

(2) Paved Road Construction North of Building 01 and Building 03 to include additional paved asphalt road along the north perimeter and additional concrete pavement at the northwest corner of Building 01, between Building 01 and Building 03 and at the northeast corner of Building 03. The Additive Bid Alternate requirements for this area is shown on Drawing C-100.

(3) Epoxy Flooring for Building 01 Room A-100 and Building 03 Room C-100.

1.1.2 Location

The work is located at the Warehouse Service Agency, (WSA) in Sanem, Luxembourg, approximately as indicated. The exact location will be shown by the Contracting Officer.

1.2 COMMENCEMENT PROSECUTION AND EXECUTION OF WORK

Refer to the Period of Performance (POP) Clause.
