About this file

This is an addendum to a competitive sealed bid solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Procurement Office for FDOT Approved Products List (APL) Traffic Equipment. Addendum No. 2, dated August 27, 2026, addresses a correction to Line Item No. 771 in the bid sheet due to an error in the Model/Product/Component Description. The solicitation encompasses approximately 1,025 line items across multiple traffic control and intelligent transportation system product categories from approximately 150 manufacturers, including electronic display signs, vehicle detectors, traffic signal components, cameras, pull boxes, cabinets, and surge protective devices. The original bid opening date is Friday, August 28, 2027, at 10:00 a.m. EST in Tallahassee, Florida. Vendors submitting bids that include a price for Line Item 771 must submit the revised bid sheet provided in Addendum No. 2 along with the original Excel Workbook bid sheet or face non-responsive designation for that line item. The contract is structured as a two-year agreement with renewal options for up to three additional years upon mutual agreement, subject to satisfactory performance and fund availability. Intended award posting is September 8, 2026.

All bidders must acknowledge receipt of Addendum No. 2 by the bid opening date or face disqualification. Prices shall be firm, net, delivered prices with F.O.B. destination terms and delivery within thirty calendar days of purchase order receipt, with no adjustments allowed for the contract life. All bidders must be registered in Florida's MyFloridaMarketplace system, comply with E-Verify requirements under Florida Statutes Section 448.095, and if applicable, hold proper licensing from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. Out-of-state corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships must be authorized to do business in Florida. A one percent MyFloridaMarketPlace transaction fee applies to all payments, and warranty coverage of not less than ninety days from acceptance is required, with replacement of defective items at vendor expense. Bidders are not required to bid on all items, and vendors may submit up to five configurations per APL certification number for certain products.
