About this file
This is an Addendum No. 1 to a competitive sealed bid solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for FDOT Approved Products List (APL) Traffic Equipment. The addendum, dated August 18, 2026, revises Special Condition 24 regarding electronic submission of bids for Bid No. DOT-ITB-27-9007-SJ. The bid opening is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2027, at 10:00 AM EST. Bidders and proposers are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum and return the acknowledgment to the FDOT Procurement Office by the bid opening date and time; failure to do so may result in disqualification. All prospective bidders must be registered in Florida's MyFloridaMarketplace system prior to submission.
The revised Special Condition 24 establishes specific requirements for electronic bid submission. Bids must be submitted via email to CO.Purch@dot.state.fl.us with a subject line indicating the bid number (DOT-ITB-27-9007-SJ) and the vendor's name. Submissions must include four separate file attachments: a bid sheet in Excel format, a bid sheet in PDF format, completed forms, and confidential material if applicable, all named with the vendor's name. All documents must be in PDF format with a maximum file size of 20MB, and bids must not be submitted in ZIP files. The body of the email shall contain no information. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery to the correct email address by the specified deadline; bids not properly delivered will not be considered. All bidders must comply with Florida Statutes Section 287.057(23), which prohibits contact with state employees or officers regarding the solicitation between the release date and 72 hours following the notice of intended award, excluding weekends and state holidays.
