About this file
This is an Award Memo from the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services announcing the intended award of a contract for the AM27-106 West Northwest D1 Wildlife Habitat Project-Sheep Creek Geological Loop-Phase 5 (WRI #7582). The solicitation, issued by the Division of Wildlife Resources, sought Lop and Scatter services for up to 2,233 acres located in Daggett County. This Invitation for Bids was limited to pre-qualified contractors only. The project performance period runs from September 15, 2026, through December 1, 2026. No mandatory site visit was required. Award determination was to be made based on lowest cost per acre to a single responsive and responsible vendor.
The award memo indicates that vendor responses were evaluated according to criteria stated in the original solicitation. Vendors must guarantee their pricing through project completion. The receipt of the award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only an executed Purchase Order or signed contract between the awarded vendor and the Division of Purchasing and General Services creates a contractual obligation. The awarded vendor is prohibited from beginning work, purchasing materials, or entering into subcontracts until both parties have executed the contract or PO. Vendors have seven days from the issuance of this notice to submit any written protests regarding the award decision.
