About this file

The document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Clark County School District in Puerto Rico for a school bus stop-arm camera system. The RFP seeks to procure a comprehensive camera solution designed to detect and record traffic violations when vehicles illegally pass stopped school buses. The project aims to support the district's efforts to enhance student safety by documenting stop-arm violations and facilitating the issuance of traffic citations. While specific response dates, award dates, and contract term details are not visible in the provided excerpt, the RFP indicates the district is seeking a fully supported camera system with ongoing technical and operational support.

No specific pricing details, funding sources, or set-aside provisions are discernible from the available information. The RFP appears focused on soliciting proposals from qualified vendors capable of providing a technologically advanced stop-arm camera system that can effectively monitor and document traffic violations near school buses. The scope suggests the district is prioritizing student safety through technological intervention and potential legal enforcement of traffic regulations around school transportation.
