About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a NASA Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation for occupational health and employee assistance program services at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, Texas.
The procurement requires quoters to provide both an Occupational Health Medical Director and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Coordinator, with bidding on all positions mandatory for responsiveness. The Medical Director must possess a valid state medical license (with a special waiver required if using Interstate Medical Licensure Compact qualification), support medication and vaccination acquisitions, credential staff members, and work within the existing Cority electronic health records system. The clinic operates core business hours from 0700 AM to 1530 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays, and currently employs 2 nurse practitioners, 1 registered nurse, 1 radiology/lab technician, and 4 administrative staff. Clinic staff will transition to civil servant status except administrative personnel who will remain under agency contract. The incumbent contractor is Herndon Solutions Group under contract 80SSC026F7003, with a current value of $1,341,128 and total contract value of $10,505,401. NASA declined to disclose the estimated budget for the new requirement and stated that subcontracting is not mandatory. All responses were posted as either Release of RFQ or Amendment 00001.
