Asbestos Abatement/Insulator Identify, remove, pack, transport, or dispose of hazardous materials, including asbestos, lead-based paint, waste oil, fuel, transmission fluid, radioactive materials, or contaminated soil. Required State of Florida Asbestos Abatement license
Boiler Plant Operator/Mechanic Operates one or more boilers to produce steam or high-temperature water for use in an establishment, fires boiler, observes and interprets readings on gauges, meters, and charts which register various aspects of boiler operation, adjusts controls to insure safe and efficient boiler operation and to meet demands for steam or high-temperature water. Responsibilities may include one or more of the following: maintain a log in which various aspects of boiler operation are recorded; clean, oil, make minor repairs or assist in repair to boiler room equipment; and following prescribed methods, treat boiler water with chemicals and analyze boiler water for such things as acidity, causticity, and alkalinity. 2 years in plant operations High school diploma or equivalent

Crane Operator/Rigger Assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material in manufacturing plant or shipyard. Selects cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved, attaches pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures, such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, with bolts and clamps, attaches load with grappling devices, such as loops, wires, ropes and chains, to crane hook.
