Questions and Answers for RFP 194-25 - ADDENDUM #1

1. Question: Reading over the paperwork, we can see that there are a total of 18 locations that are in need of service. However we are unclear on how many restrooms there are at each location. Are there two (2) at each location, or are there more? Additionally, what is the approximate size of each Restroom? From the picture it appears to be approximately 4 foot by 8 foot, but clear measurements will be helpful in obtaining correct pricing.

• Answer: There are two individual unisex restrooms under one roof per location. The size of the restrooms varies slightly from location to location, but most are at or around 7 foot by 5 ½ foot per individual restroom.

2. Question: What is the intended time period for this project? When do you expect the awarded vendor to receive the approval to proceed with the project and when should this project be completed by? Will all restrooms be completed as part of this project, or will they be completed as budgets allow?

• Answer: We are anticipating completing 6-10 locations this year. We hope to have our selected contractor start by the end of September and complete all requested and agreed upon locations by the end of the year or as weather allows for application—whichever comes first.

6. Question: Are the existing trail toilets mounted to the ground or are they easily removable? If not easily removed, will the Boulder Parks Department be responsible for removal and reinstallation or shall the awarded contractor need to factor this into their proposal?
