About this file

This is an Award Memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services regarding the procurement of herbicide and aerial application services for Stewart Lake (AS27-103). The solicitation was conducted as a Request for Quotes (RFQ) by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. The procurement sought the lowest-cost responsive and responsible vendor to provide herbicide and aerial application services. Quotes were evaluated according to objective criteria specified in the RFQ, with vendors required to submit a single primary bid with no multiple or alternate quotes permitted. The awarded vendor must not commence work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services have executed the contract or purchase order.

The award notification indicates that the intended awardee is identified in accompanying award documentation available on the public purchasing website. Vendors are reminded that any protests of the award decision must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Officer within seven days of the notice issuance, with the protest clearly identifying the solicitation and detailing the nature of the objection. The receipt of this award notification does not constitute a contract; only an executed purchase order or signed contract between the awarded vendor and the Division of Purchasing and General Services creates a binding agreement. The awarded vendor will be contacted via phone or email regarding next steps in the contracting process.
