About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP #25-042) issued by Tarrant County College District (TCCD) for Snack, Micro-Market Vending, and Office Coffee Services. The RFP seeks a vendor to manage vending services across TCCD's five campuses and several satellite sites, serving over 50,000 students and 5,400 employees. The virtual pre-proposal conference was held on October 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM, with proposals due on November 14, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. The contract aims to improve product quality, selection, and service, with a minimum requirement of two vending machines and one micro-market machine per campus. The vendor will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing equipment in a sanitary manner, using nationally recognized brands and providing first-class service.
The scoring matrix for the proposal weights the Commission Percentage Paid to TCCD at 56%, with other key evaluation criteria including the supplier's reputation, quality of goods and services, and how well the proposed solution meets the district's needs. The vendor will be required to provide equipment and products at no cost to TCCD, with the district receiving a commission based on gross sales. Additional requirements include being Blue Zones Project Approved, providing a comprehensive maintenance plan, offering 24/7 equipment repair, and submitting to district approval for machine placement and product changes. The proposal requires submission of various forms and certifications, with vendors expected to upload documents through the Bonfire portal and acknowledge all addenda and Q&A materials.
