About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a federal contract opportunity for office furniture for the Mid-Atlantic Service Unit of the Indian Health Service. The Q&A covers detailed furniture specifications for multiple rooms, including various types of chairs (task chairs, guest chairs, child-sized stools), desks, lateral files, tables, lounge furniture, and accessories. Key details include furniture requirements for specific rooms such as conference rooms, CEO office, children's area, pharmacy, physician supervisor office, and behavioral health spaces, with clarifications on dimensions, quantities, and functionality.
The document reveals specific furniture needs like two-drawer lateral files with shelves, modular lounge furniture with potential serpentine configurations, task chairs for movement, child-sized furniture for a children's area, and specialized items like non-porous "sanitary" chairs. Additional logistical details include a requirement for a lift gate (no loading dock), preference for casters on chairs, and confirmation of 48-inch tables with 4 chairs per table. The solicitation appears to be set aside for ISBEE/IEE (Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise) vendors, targeting furniture procurement for the Department of Health and Human Services Indian Health Service.
