About this file

This is a laboratory findings and asbestos inspection report for Building No. 22 at the Albuquerque Service Unit, dated April 17, 2006.

The document presents bulk sample results from an asbestos survey conducted on the facility. A total of 20 distinct hazardous materials (HA) were identified and catalogued across various functional spaces within the building. The materials identified include floor tiles and mastics in multiple colors (rose/beige, light brown, gray, orange, and white), carpet mastic (yellow), ceramic tile grout, white tile grout, leveling board, vapor paper, asphaltic floor tile, plaster coatings (brown coat and skin coat), plaster textures (bumpy and rough finishes), wall sheet vinyl, red brick, red brick mortar, and exterior stucco. The asbestos-containing materials (ACM) analysis identified two items with positive asbestos content: HA 1F (12"x12" Floor Tile & Mastic in Orange) containing 4-8% chrysotile in the mastic only, and HA 2E (Wall Sheet Vinyl) containing 20-30% chrysotile. The remaining 18 materials tested negative for asbestos. All sampled materials were documented in good condition, with quantities ranging from 10 square feet to 5,000 square feet. Complete sample descriptions, locations, and detailed laboratory reports are referenced in the appendices.
