About this file

This document is a Pre-Proposal Inquiries amendment for Solicitation 75H70125R00031, a construction project for a maintenance shop at the Rosebud Hospital in Rosebud, South Dakota. The solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside with a size standard of $45 million under NAICS Code 236220, with an anticipated project value between $250,000 and $500,000. The project involves constructing a 66' x 100' metal post frame building within a fenced area adjacent to the hospital, with a 180-calendar day performance period.

The amendment includes 28 requests for information (RFIs) covering detailed specifications such as equipment storage (including John Deere loaders, skid loaders, and a tractor), electrical requirements (2-220 outlets, 2.5" conduit), HVAC (electric heating), foundation design, and maintenance scope. Key notes include: no windows in exterior doors, in-floor heat maintained at 60°F, no parking lot included in the current scope, solar panels to be removed by others, and maintenance activities limited to routine tasks like hydraulic hose repairs. The contractor will be responsible for providing engineer-stamped plans and may choose to connect power from the hospital or install a new transformer.
