Amendment A00003 dated 06/23/2023

1. A-1.2 On Security Office note 28, please clarify if it needs any new flooring. AE The Keyed Note symbol in N-12 just above “Security Office” room name should read “32” not 28. New flooring is not required, see Room Finish Schedule on sheet A-6. Note, a chair right of desk keyed note symbol 29 should have keyed note symbol “22”.

2. 011000-2, Can the Gov’t provide additional detail for the phasing plan specifically for how the Gov’t envisions access control and staff movement during the work hours? In Sheet G-2, the construction pathway interferes with the main entrances to the offices south of the pharmacy. Concern is moving materials in the walkway from the construction entrance, passing the corridors, and into the pharmacy area.

AE On Sheet G-2, Keyed Note # 7 indicates the path of travel for the Contractor’s access to the Pharmacy Renovation Work Area from the Contractor’s building access door. Facility Staff and Escorted Visitor’s use of that corridor will be minimal, crossing between areas north and south of the corridor. The facility has a parallel corridor south of the Contractor’s access path for Hospital Staff use; see attached Exhibit A – Parallel Corridor For Hospital Staff Use.

The Contractor’s shall maintain emergency egress through the pathway at all times.

3. Sheet A-6, A- 1.2

Can the Gov’t confirm if there are any additional OF/OI and/or CF/CI that we should be aware of in these areas?

AE The Owner or the Owner’s vendor will install all items listed in the Keyed Notes on sheets A-1, A-1.1 & A-1.2 as Owner Provided.

Project Manual Specification Section 011000 A. Note: Paragraph 1.4.A Subparagraph 1 is modified by Amendment A0002.

B. Note: Paragraph 1.5.C Subparagraphs 1 & 2 will be installed by the Owner or the Owner’s vendor.
