About this file
This solicitation is for a cooperative agreement to implement the USAID/Haiti Livestock Market Systems Resilience Activity. The purpose is to increase resilience of households and communities in two focus zones through improving the livestock market system. The recipient will utilize market-based approaches to intensify livestock production, strengthen animal health services, increase access to input and output markets, improve processing and marketing operations, and catalyze private sector engagement and access to finance in the cattle, poultry, and small ruminant sub-sectors. The agreement will employ an inclusive market systems approach to improve productivity and competitiveness to increase resilience to climate shocks, pandemic impacts, conflict, and weak governance. Proposals are due by the specified date and should be prepared according to the instructions. The solicitation is conducted through full and open competition and is open to all types of organizations. The USAID Mission in Haiti issued the solicitation.
